Use these downloads to get your whole family talking about and using resources.
For each of the emotions, list different things you can do calm your body and mind. Examples of some resources:

  • Breathing Exercises

  • Take a Walk

  • Cuddle With a Stuffed Animal

  • Listen to Music

  • Draw or Color

You will find that some resources can be used for multiple emotions and also reference the specific essential oils from the Kid’s Collection that can be used in each case.

For the Jar graphic, let your child decorate their own to help them practice containment when needed. This is a great way for them to visualize in situations when emotions are high but resourcing is not available/appropriate at the time. Remember, this is a jar; it is meant to be opened and closed meaning it is important to address the emotions/situation when the time is appropriate.

Don’t forget to hang them up when they are complete so the whole family can access them.
